CHILDREN IN NEED RECEIVE EASTER MEALS FROM HRH CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE AND LIFELINE CHICAGO
HRH Crown Princess Katherine and Lifeline Humanitarian Organization of Chicago, have again shown their determination to assist those in need in Serbia and in Republika Srpska by providing Easter meals to institutions for children without parental care and to shelters and safe houses across Serbia and in Republika Srpska.
In addition to Lifeline Chicago funding the annual Easter receptions for children at the Royal Palace, which TRH Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine once again organized and hosted for more than 1,000 socially vulnerable children, a significant delivery of food was also donated by Lifeline Chicago to a multitude of institutions and shelters.
This great contribution was made possible by the generosity of individual donors along with many chapters of the Circle of the Serbian Sisters (Kolo Srpskih Sestara) in the United States, a very important 120-year-old cultural, educational, patriotic, and humanitarian organization, via their generous donations to Lifeline Chicago. As a testament to their devotion in providing aid to those in need, Easter lunches and dinners were delivered to the following institutions: the four working units of The Center for the Protection of Infants, Children and Youth – Zvecanska - in Belgrade, The Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj Home, The Drinka Pavlovic Home, the working units of The Zvecanska 19 Home and The Zvecanska 52 Home, The Mika Antic Homes for Children and Youth in Sombor, The Vera Radivojevic Home in Bela Crkva, The Spomenak Home in Pancevo, The Rada Vranjesevic Home in Banja Luka in Republika Srpska, The Kneginja Ljubica Center for the Development of Social Protection Services in Kragujevac, The Vasa Stajic Home for Children in Belgrade, The Shelter for the Children of Belgrade, Safe Houses in Belgrade and in Pancevo in Serbia, and a Safe House in Modrica in Republika Srpska.
