Forgotten History Project

On 8 December, Haylard Mission Foundation hosted an event, spotlighting the long but little-known history between Serbia and the United States. President, John Cappello reports the event was excellent and well attended, including a delegation from the US Embassy.

As a highlight of the event, the Halyard Mission Foundation and Zastava USA presented smart-board technology to three schools which were made possible with the generous donation of LifeLine Chicago (LLC). The Olga Milošević Middle School stated they will feature the donation in a special classroom that is established to highlight the important relations between the US and Serbia.

The exhibit covers relations in World War I showcasing the Volunteer story; World War II focused on the Halyard Mission story and many other important historic connections.
