HRH CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE FOUNDATION AND LIFELINE CHICAGO DELIVER PACKAGES TO NEEDY FAMILIES IN BANJA LUKA
Banja Luka, January 3 and 5, 2024 - HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation and Lifeline Humanitarian Organization of Chicago, under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Katherine, delivered food and hygiene packages to Banja Luka.
Needy families in Banja Luka were recipients of the most recent donation packages, which were made possible by an incredibly generous donation made possible through the Three Kolo Group ( The Circle of Serbian Sisters of St. George of Joliet, Illinois, The Circle of Serbian Sisters Kneginja Zorka of Lansing, Illinois, and The Circle of Serbian Sisters of St. Archangel Michael of Lansing, Illinois).
The "Center for Social Work" in Banja Luka carried out a humanitarian action plan and distributed packages with food and hygiene products to a total of 60 socially vulnerable families from Banja Luka and surrounding suburbs.
Each package contained: 10 kg of flour, 5 liters of milk, 5 liters of oil, 5 kg of sugar, 2 kg of salt, 1 bag of spices (vegetable), 2 kg of rice, 5 packages of macaroni, 1 package of yeast (500 g), 1 chicken salami (500 g), feta cheese (800gr), 1 Eurocream (1kg), shampoo (1 liter), 4 soaps, laundry detergent (6kg) and dishwashing detergent.
A total of 60 families received packages, which were distributed on January 3 and 5, 2024 to ensure that the groceries would reach the beneficiaries before the Christmas holidays. Most beneficiaries picked up their packages at the Social Work Centre and a number of packages were taken to the family homes by the Centre’s vehicle.
