LIFELINE CHICAGO AND THE CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE FOUNDATION CONTINUE SUPPORTING SCHOOL FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION IN KRALJEVO
3/5/2025 My wife and the Humanitarian organization Lifeline Chicago, which is under the patronage of NJ. К. В. Princesses Katarina continued to provide support to the School for Primary and Secondary Education "Ivo Lola Ribar" in Kraljevo. This institution deals with educating students with intellectual disabilities, and Lifeline Chicago continues to be dedicated to providing the necessary resources.
Thanks to the generosity of the Mihajlovic family, long-standing charity of Lifeline Chicago, in their name and in memory of Nikodij "White" Mihajlović, a donation was recently made in order to further contribute to the education of the students of this school. The donation contained a variety of items intended to support children’s learning and development, such as educational toys and tools, school supplies, sports balls and backpacks for all students.
In addition, the Mihajlovic family has generously donated a specialized crane that will significantly help the school medical staff in the daily care of students who use wheelchairs. This device will make for safer and more efficient transfers, ensuring students receive the best care possible during their school stay.
"The donations of the Mihajlovic family represent a decisive contribution to improving the quality of life and education of these exceptional students. This donation is part of Lifeline Chicago's continued commitment to supporting the communities that need help most. The "Ivo Lola Ribar" school has a key role in promoting inclusion and providing specialized education to children with intellectual disabilities, and my Foundation in Belgrade is proud to be able to help in their mission," said NJ. К. В. Princess Catherine .
Director of the "Ivo Lola Ribar" school, Mrs. Biljana Mandic Dimitrijevic, stated: "We are proud to continue our cooperation with the Mihajlovic family, the Lifeline Chicago organization and the Princess Catherine Foundation, to ensure that our students receive the necessary tools and support they deserve to succeed." ”
